On August 26, 2014 I wrote a post entitled “Hope or Despair”, exposing the work of fiery darts to inspire doubt and fear about Jesus’s return. I left out an extremely important question, however! But as is consistently the case between God and His children, He always works things out for our good. Having a page set aside to answer this vital question is more valuable to my readers. Now my readers will have access to this information whenever they go to my FD’s blog, or when they pick up my book, Fiery Darts: Satan’s Weapon of Choice, and turn to pp. 81-82. I think this works out much better!
Endnotes
(p. 81 from FD’s)
“The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1 Corinthians 2:14, NIV)
Because I realize that much of what God has taught me about fiery darts and the writing of this book are truths that are spiritually discerned, I realize that the Enemy will attempt to prevent you from understanding “the things that come from the Spirit of God.” To counter that please pray and seek the help of God’s Spirit to enlighten your understanding as you read.
Perhaps there are those among my readers who have yet to commit their lives to Christ. Please consider the following:
Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 10:9, “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.”
Prayer of Salvation:
(from p. 82 of FD’s)
Leave a commentDear God, I believe that Jesus Christ is your Son and that He died and was raised from the dead. I confess my sin and my need for forgiveness and ask Jesus to save me. Thank you for giving me forgiveness, eternal life, and hope. Amen!
